Notifications and reminders for your friends

Vyrazíme reminds your friends to vote and to confirm they're coming, and tells you once everyone has voted. Plus messages, a countdown and settings.

Whoever organises keeps track of who has voted and who hasn't yet. In Vyrazíme the app does that for you: it reminds your friends what they still have to do and lets you know when it's all done. You get to spend that time on the event itself.

Notifications reach your phone from the mobile app, and invitations and a summary of messages also come by email. Three switches set what you receive.

What Vyrazíme does

• Vote reminder. Anyone who hasn't yet voted on the date, place, accommodation or in a poll gets a notification on their phone. The reminders keep coming until they've voted on every option.
• Attendance reminder. Once the date is decided, the app reminds those who haven't said yet whether they're coming. This reminder also arrives by email.
• A heads-up for the organiser. When everyone invited has voted, you get a notification that you can pick.
• Countdown before the event. A reminder arrives a week and a day ahead. The day before an event of several days, it tells you how many things are left to pack.
• Messages and reactions. New messages in the event chat, in groups and in private conversations, and reactions to your messages. When you open a conversation, its notifications disappear from your phone.
• Invitations, tasks and photos. A new invitation, a task someone assigned to you, and new photos in the album gathered into one notification.

Step by step

1. Turn on notifications. In the event list, tap your avatar and in Settings find the Notifications card. Push notifications for messages send messages, invitations and tasks to your phone. Email notifications send invitations and a summary of missed messages. Trip reminders turn on the countdown and the vote reminders.

   

2. Leave the reminding to the app. A friend who hasn't voted yet gets the notification Your vote is missing two days after the invitation. If they still haven't replied, the app reminds them again after three days, no more than three times in all, and one last time a few days before the event. A tap takes them straight into the event.

   

3. See who hasn't voted yet. In the date detail, under the I can and I can't buttons, the names are split into three groups. In the Haven't voted yet group you see who you're still waiting for.

   

4. Pick once everyone has voted. As soon as everyone invited has voted, you get the notification The date is fully voted. It works the same for the place and accommodation. The reminder keeps coming until you pick, and comes back when a new suggestion is added and your friends have voted on it.

   

5. Pack with the list before the event. A week before the event the countdown arrives, and another one the day before. For an event of several days it tells you how many things are still left to pack, and a tap opens the packing list.

   

FAQ

Who gets the reminders?

Everyone who has the mobile app and hasn't turned off Trip reminders. Anyone who uses Vyrazíme only in the browser has the label Web only for now next to their name in the list of people. They won't get notifications on their phone, but the app will remind them by email to confirm they're coming.

Why am I not getting notifications?

Most often, notifications for the app are turned off in your phone's settings. The Notifications card spots this and shows Allow them in your system settings by the switch. When you tap the switch, the app points you to your phone's settings.

What comes by email?

Invitations to events, notices that an event has been cancelled and a summary of messages you missed. You turn them off with the Email notifications switch.

Do message notifications stay on my phone?

Only until you open the conversation, then they disappear from your phone's notifications, including those about reactions. Event reminders and invitations wait until you clear them yourself.
